Sevana Pension is a scheme which is designed to provide pension to agricultural workers, old age people, disabled citizens, widow citizens, and unmarried women above 50 years of age.

What is Sevana Pension?
Prior to this scheme, there was a very poor administration of social welfare pension programme which have resulted in delays in complaints of duplication, pension payments, and defalcations issues do come up regularly.
After seeing these issues, Government of Kerala has decided to deploy a Sevana Social Welfare Pension software.
Sevana Pension is a software which is designed to prevent duplication, misuse, theft, and delay in pension payments.
After the successful implementation of this Sevana Pension software the officials have seen the great improvement in the efficiency and service delivery.
Under this Scheme, all social security pensions are distributed through local bodies such as Grama panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations.

There are 7 types of pension schemes which are disturbed under this sevana pension scheme.
- National Old Age Pension
- Widow Pension
- Pension to Unmarried Women above 50 years
- Pension to the Physically Challenged Persons
- Pension to the Mentally Challenged Persons
- Agriculture Labour Pension
- Unemployment wages (Previously handled by Training and Employment Department)
Pension Search
Users those are getting pension can search there pension by providing Pensioner ID, Aadhaar Number and Account Number.
Steps to Search Pension Status for Information–
Step 1- Beneficiaries should visit the Official Website.
Step 2- Then, You will be redirected to a web page where you can search your pension information.
Step 3- You have to share Pensioner ID, Aadhaar Number and Account Number in order to search the pension information.
Step 4- Post following above step, you should click on Search button.
After clicking the search button you will get all the information related to your pension.

2- From the Homepage, click on the Login tab.
3- Post following the above Step, You will be redirected to a webpage where you have enter your Username and Secret Keyword with the captcha code.
