Sahaaya School Management System in Cotton Hill School-Thiruvananthapuram
Health Minister V S Sivakumar inaugurated the School Management System being implemented by the city corporation at Cotton Hill Higher Secondary school on 08/09/2015. The city corporation has tied-up with Information Kerala mission to launch the system in which the moment the attendance is marked on the attendance register, an SMS will be sent to the mobile number of the parent. This is enabled by maintaining a common data base comprising the details of each student in a class. Academic standards of students in the class, reports of internal assessment etc..could also be updated to the parent via mobile phone.
Sanketham for Building Permit
Building permits will be made available via online in Urban Local bodies. Information Kerala Mission developed and deployed the application software” Sanketham” for Local bodies. “Sanketham “ Software granting building permits by local governments in a transparent and standardised manner strictly following the Kerala Municipal Building Rules (KMBR), delivers innovative and value-added solutions to the public/client, through the use of technology. State level Inauguration of this Online facility is being done by Urban affairs Minister Sri.Manjalamkuzhi Ali on Tuesday, 7th October 2014 at Thycaud Guest House,Thiruvananthapuram.

After e-governance programme, LSG bodies to go in for ISO certification
The concept of ISO certification was conceived after the deputy director of panchayat office in Alappuzha got the certification. The certification will help in bringing more professionalism to the functioning of the local bodies. The first panchayat to get the ISO certification was Kumbala in Kasargod district in 2010. Now this process will be extended to other local bodies in the state.

Online approval for local body schemes in Kerala.
Local bodies in Kerala have secured online approval for a little more than 1.97 lakh schemes during 2013-14 at an outlay of Rs 9920.58 crore. This was an increase of Rs 864 crore over the outlay of the previous year.The scheme was uploaded and approval secured online using the ‘Sulekha’ software developed by Information Kerala Mission
